8 slices bacon
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Trim the tough ends of the asparagus.
Wrap each asparagus spear with a slice of bacon.
Place on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until bacon is crispy.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar over the top and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper and serve.
